The voice associates are hand-picked voice and communication skills coaches who share my passion, abilities and experience.

They have successful careers in their own right and have specialist areas of knowledge that make them a valuable team member. Together, they help me provide training where and when you want it.

Other invaluable team members cover administration, sales and marketing and business strategy, or are partners in complimentary training ventures.


Alyssa is a freelance speech and communications coach based in Barcelona and New York, most recently collaborating with Phil in Barcelona at Startup Bootcamp’s accelerator training for the 2016 Mobile World Congress and a pitch training sponsored by the World Bank for the 2015 Smart City Expo. A Designated Linklater Teacher, her focus for professional clients is on ease and clarity.

She has been on the faculties at several graduate and undergraduate programs including New York University, Actor’s Studio Drama School at Pace, Fordham University in New York and Kadir Has University in Istanbul. She served as Head of Voice and Speech at the Maggie Flanigan Studio in Chelsea from 2010 to 2015 and continues there as a visiting instructor. Her private clients have ranged from Broadway actors to executives in advertising, and she coaches in English & Spanish.


Eluned Owen

Eluned is a freelance voice coach and trustee for the Voice Care Network. She studied under Patsy Rodenburg and has taught voice and communication skills for more than 20 years, in a range of business and educational settings.

Eluned is the principal tutor for Communicate - a programme for non-native English speakers developed in conjunction with Loughborough University Professional Development and Philip Bliss.

Yvonne Morley

Yvonne is a freelance vocal coach with over 30 years experience. Formerly Head of Voice at LAMDA she is now part of the National Theatre’s voice department. Production work includes London’s West End and BBC television.

Non theatre work includes media, education, health and the legal professions, delivering training up to Senior and Partner level. More confidential work takes her into two of the Royal Palaces, and the Houses of Parliament.

Tim phelps - Site Manager

Tim first met Phil at the London School of Musical Theatre in 2014, where Phil was Tim's voice coach.

Since leaving LSMT, Tim has worked professionally as an Actor, Singer, Musician, Puppeteer and Magician all over the globe. 

As well as performing Tim also has a passion for video editing, photography, graphic design and website maintenance. Tim has been working with Phil since early 2016, filming and editing videos for Phil and keeping his websites up-to-date and “fresh”, he is delighted to have been given the prestigious title of 'Site Manager’. 


Per Hugander

Based in Stockholm, Per is the founder of IERO: A Scandinavian development platform for leaders and change-makers. In his first career Per was a business manager at Procter & Gamble and a strategy consultant with the Boston consulting group.

During his second career Per devoted his time to social innovation and he was on the management team of Swedens largest NGO, Fryshuset.

In his third, and present career, Per helps individuals and organisations to take advantage of their complex and fast changing environment. His clients range from large organisations like H&M and Scania to fast growing internet companies like Truecaller.

Per and Phil have worked together on several international leadership development programs. Presently they are co-creating a unique communication skill training program combining Solution focused coaching with Philips expertise and on-line offering.



Beatrice Brennan is a clinical speech and language therapist based in London. She brings a specialism in phonetics and experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, developing articulation skills and confident speaking. She is currently researching accent variations and vowel sounds at London's City University.


Annie Morrison

Annie Morrison is a renowned voice and speech therapist. She runs workshops on articulation and effective strategies for dysfunctional voice and speech issues for voice coaches.

Annie has worked with the RSC and the National Theatre and on the movie “The Kings Speech”. She was Head of Voice at the Guildford School of Acting.

She has designed a highly successful speech tool - The Morrison Bone Prop - to enhance the efficacy of speech training. Her approach is intuitive, imaginative and playful. It is underpinned by her sound therapeutic and technical training.
